How long does UPS installation and commissioning take?
A single rack-mount UPS in an existing IT cabinet typically takes 2–4 hours. A full data centre UPS installation with battery cabinets, bypass switching and remote monitoring configuration can take 1–3 days. We provide a clear timeframe at quote stage once the scope is understood.
Can you install UPS systems in regional or remote locations?
Yes. We regularly deploy installations to regional QLD, NSW and Victoria, as well as remote mining sites and Pacific Island locations. We manage freight, logistics and site access as part of the service.
Do you install UPS systems you didn't supply?
In most cases, yes. If you have an existing UPS that requires commissioning, reconfiguration or battery replacement, contact us to discuss. Commissioning of third-party supplied equipment is assessed case by case.
What happens after installation — do you provide ongoing support?
